From Monday 31 March 2025

Western Australia Police Licensing Services has a dedicated transition team in place to assist transferring existing licence holders to the new licence types.

Existing licence holders will be contacted before their renewal date when it is time for them to commence the process.

There is no need to contact Licensing Services prior to the transition team contacting you.

All existing licence holders will be contacted and given 90 days to meet the new standards.

When contacted you will be provided advice on what information is required to support your renewal process.

Your patience during this period is appreciated.
