Important notice

Due to a recent confirmed case of measles at Bunbury Regional Prison (BRP), visitors are required to wear masks and refrain from physical contact until further notice. Check with your GP if pregnant or immunocompromised. Those unsure of their immunity to measles should consider vaccination.

People who visited BRP from 9 March 2025 should check their immunisation record. Seek medical care if fever or respiratory symptoms develop within two weeks.

Registered visitors are not required to bring ID into the prison, however visitors should have photo ID readily available (ie. in a locker), as an Officer may require to confirm a visitor’s identification or to update their Visitor Declaration Form (annual review).

A maximum of 3 adults and 3 children allowed per visit session. Additional children may be considered by approval only.

Bookings need to be submitted at least 24 hours prior and can be booked up to 1 month in advance
