Exceptional leadership is crucial to manage the complex finances of public sector agencies and deliver for agency executive, the government and Western Australians.

The leadership capability modules provide a transformative learning experience for public sector CFOs. The modules cultivate the skills necessary for CFOs to lead with impact, and build teams with the agility and drive to achieve exceptional financial outcomes for their agencies.

Through the 4 modules based on modern leadership theories, CFOs master the art of stewardship, skilfully supporting and motivating others while assuming full accountability for financial and budgetary matters.

By embracing a mindset of continual personal improvement, CFOs elevate their performance, enhance team capability and inspire the finance leaders of tomorrow.

Delivery mode and time commitment

Modules are delivered using a variety of formal and social learning experiences:

  • Face to face session (2 day session for modules 1 and 3; one day session for modules 2 and 4)
  • Virtual workshop (for modules 2 and 4 only) – 3 hours
  • In-office work (module 2 only)
  • Peer coaching
  • Agency appointed executive partner to support leadership transition in the context of the agency

CFOs have access to a learning platform for easy access to all content and to network and share experiences with fellow CFOs in the program.

Cost

$3,055 for all 4 leadership capability modules.

Subject to change at the end of the financial year.

How to enrol

The CFO must seek approval from their agency then complete this short form to enrol.
