Applications are now closed.
The Department of Communities has now allocated sponsorship funds across each of our 11 portfolios until the end of the 2024/25 financial year.
We have focussed on being as fair and equitable as possible across each of these areas within our limited budget.
Unfortunately we’re not in a position to support any new sponsorship requests until additional funding is allocated in July next year.
We invite you to check this page for new information and updates, and look forward to possibly working with your team in 2025.
The Department of Communities (Communities) partners with eligible organisations through its annual sponsorship program. Sponsorships are available to support community-wide initiatives and events that provide a range of exposure opportunities aligned with the outcomes listed in the Communities’ Strategic Direction Statement 2022–2025.
These activities and events should deliver benefits and represent value to the Western Australian Government, and wider community.
Communities ensures fair, consistent, and ethical practices occur during sponsorship assessment and administration.
About the Sponsorship Program
Sponsorship agreements should align with Communities’ strategic direction with organisations acknowledging the Department’s support as a sponsor.
