Strong industrial sales in Perth's north have driven the fast tracking of the sale of a further 18 new lots at Meridian Park in Neerabup.

To be released by presale, Stage 7 is made up of general industrial lots sized 2,400 square metres up to 2.25 hectares, with lots priced from $600,000 ex. GST and many available for amalgamation to suit purchaser needs.

The 390ha Meridian Park is located in the Neerabup Industrial Area just four kilometres from the new Mitchell Freeway extension, and has proven attractive to businesses seeking a prime location with easy access to upgraded transport links.

The 18 lots are located off Greenwich Parade, the central road to Meridian Park and closest to the 51ha Australian Automation and Robotics Precinct (AARP).

The AARP is a world leading facility planned to include testing, research, development and training in autonomous, remote operations and robotic systems and equipment among other uses, and offers the first major opportunity for businesses looking to purchase and service AARP users.

The estate has been designed to meet the business needs of Perth's fast-growing North-West corridor for the next 30 to 50 years, and is expected to ultimately generate up to 20,000 new employment opportunities.

Comments attributed to Lands Minister John Carey:

"The strong sales seen at Meridian Park are a demonstration WA's strong economy and business confidence.

"These lots are designed to meet both the current industrial demand in the northern suburbs, as well as strategic business users looking to service and supply the State Government backed Australian Automation and Robotics Precinct.

"By moving quickly to meet market demand and encourage future investment in technologies through the AARP, DevelopmentWA's Industrial Lands Authority is ensuring businesses can continue to plan with confidence, supporting our economy and creating more jobs for Western Australians."

Comments attributed to Wanneroo MLA Sabine Winton:

"It's fantastic to see more land being released in this strategically important industrial zone in the Wanneroo electorate.

"Meridian Park and the broader Neerabup Industrial Area will be critical to our local economy and job creation in the years ahead, and seeing more land released to businesses expand their operations, or become established is fantastic to see."
