Western Australia's regions are set to host a variety of exciting and unique performing arts experiences including performances of puppetry, dance, theatre, singing and more, through Cook Government culture and the arts funding.
Twelve projects will share in $1,454,586 in grants from the 2024-25 round of the Regional Performing Arts program, an initiative delivered as part of the Regional Arts and Cultural Investment Program.
The Regional Performing Arts program supports organisations through two categories, Made in WA and Playing WA, with regional costs associated with the development and presentation of new performance works, and the delivery of performing arts tours.
With tours and activities running throughout 2025 and 2026, the funded projects will visit a total of 25 towns and cities across all regions of WA.
