Premier Alan Carpenter has expressed deep shock and sadness at the sudden passing of Chris Mainwaring.
"Chris was a great footballer who was admired by all football fans," the Premier said.
"I always found him friendly and good humoured.
"He had a kind heart and a generous spirit and was always happy to contribute to the community.
"Like everyone, I will miss him.
"My thoughts and deepest sympathy go out to Chris's family, friends and colleagues."
